  3. FREEWARE.  This archive containing ALADSHOW.PRG, UPDATES and README
  4. may only be distributed in its complete and unmodified form.
  5. Furthermore, no charge shall be made for the distribution of this
  6. archive other than a nominal charge that covers the cost of its
  7. distribution media.

  9. While I have tried to insure that this program cannot harm your system
  10. (hardware or software), I do not claim that it is entirely safe.  Use
  11. ALADSHOW.PRG at your own risk.

  13. ALADSHOW.PRG is a program for showing/searching the files that ALADDIN
  14. stores as its 'Main List' of files under the 'Library' drop-down menu.
  15. If you know what ALADVIEW.PRG by Jim Allen does, then you know what
  16. ALADSHOW.PRG does.
  17.  
  18. This BETA release does not include any real documentation, but the
  19. program is easy to learn (just experiment with the drop down menus).
  20. All you really need to know is what data file to load.  ALADDIN stores
  21. its file lists under file names with a DAT extension.  The
  22. ALADSHOW.PRG included in this archive has its default DAT file set to
  23. the one ALADDIN that creates for the ATARI roundtable.

  25. System requirements: a hard disk drive is HIGHLY recommended, ST LOW
  26. and TT LOW resolutions are not supported, only tested with TOS 1.0
  27. and TOS 3.06

  29. Since this is a BETA release, I expect some bugs to be found.  PLEASE
  30. let me know about any bugs that you find...that is the only way that
  31. they will get fixed.  Also, this is a very good time to request new
  32. features.
